CLOISTERS. A walk through three Romanesque spaces.

Guided tour of the cloisters of the Monastery of Sant Daniel, the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and the Cathedral of Girona.

We propose a guided walk through three Romanesque cloisters in Girona: the Benedictine Monastery of Sant Daniel, the Benedictine Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants (currently home to the National Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia in Girona), and ending in the cloister of the Cathedral of Santa Maria. We will contemplate these three thousand-year-old religious buildings from their cloisters, share stories and anecdotes, explain the particularities and characteristics of each one and discover them as spaces of passage and retreat, of worship and art.
