Chromatic lights: from the origin of glass to the alchemy of colors

How does an element so common today as glass come to be? Let’s go back in time to find out. In addition, we will retrace the medieval period to learn about one of its uses: to be stained glass windows for religious temples. This is how we will understand its symbolic and functional meaning, how they were made and how this fragile and at the same time very beautiful heritage is cared for today.

To talk about it we will visit the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants (MAC-Girona) and the Cathedral of Girona.
