Stabat Mater Festival – Concert by the COR DE L’EMPORDÀ

El Cor de l’Empordà is an artistic project that has been marked for its musical development by interpreting the great works of the baroque, classical and romantic repertoire with the elements of orchestra, large choir and soloist parts.

It is made up of 38 singers who come from various areas of the Empordà and Girona choral world. It is a self-managed project by the Heart itself from a board.

Headquartered in Verges, their artistic direction includes voice trainers, orchestra and choir conductors with a proven track record and experience.

In this concert we will be offered an aria from Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and a project called Passion versus Passion which establishes a dialogue between JSBach’s Passion of Saint John and a text from the representation of the Procession of Virgins.
